Humane Society Naples has joined NBCUniversal Local’s 10th annual Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign from August 10 to September 10.
Humane Society Naples will be hosting a variety of adoption promotional events beginning on Tuesday, August 13. Expect to see waived adoption fees for cats, dogs and a focus on the importance of fostering in the coming weeks, all leading up to a Clear the Shelters weekend, September 6-8.
Humane Society Naples’ CEO Sarah Baeckler said: “All of us at Humane Society Naples are excited to participate once again in Clear The Shelters. Last year we found happy new homes for 180 of our shelter residents during this month-long event, and we hope to surpass that total this year”.
Now in its 10th year, Clear The Shelters is an annual, nationwide pet adoption campaign led by NBCUniversal Local, a division of NBCUniversal Every year, NBCUniversal Local’s NBC and Telemundo owned stations, plus more than a hundred affiliated stations across the nation, partner with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise needed funds for shelters and rescues.
