2020 Picture PAWfect Pet Photo Contest sponsored by Subaru of Naples
Vote for your favorite pet in the Picture Pawfect Pet Photo Contest sponsored by Subaru of Naples! The top winner in each category will win the grand prize including gift cards, swag from Subaru, a professional photoshoot and more.
- Click the items tab. All pets are listed alphabetically by pet’s first name. Owner’s last name will be included after pets name.
- Votes are $1 each, with a minimum $5 donation and will continue in multiples of $5. There is no limit on the number of votes placed.
- All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online until 11:59 EST on Sunday, October 23rd in fairness to avoid a group of individuals trying to be the last one to cast their vote and to ensure that no one will be denied the opportunity to win. Voting will continue until October 30, 2020.
- To vote online (recommended): visit petphoto.givesmart.com, click on the Items tab and find the pet you would like to vote for in the contest! Donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. If you want to vote for multiple pets, this will need to be done separately. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted. Votes cannot be applied to future contests. The online voting period will end October 30, 2020, 11:59:59 p.m. EST.
- To vote by text: text petphoto to 76278 click on the items tab and find the pet you would like to vote for in the contest! Donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. If you want to vote for multiple pets, this will need to be done separately. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted. - To vote by mail or in person: mail-in votes should be mailed (preferred) or dropped off to: Humane Society Naples, Attn: Outreach Manager – Pet Photo Fundraiser, 370 Airport Pulling Rd. N., Naples, FL 34104. Envelopes must include your phone number, a donation by check, the pet and entrant names and your written request to apply your enclosed donation towards votes for them in the 2020 Pet Photo Fundraiser. Votes by mail or in person must be received by Humane Society Naples no later than October 29th, 2020, 5 p.m. EST.
- To vote by phone: please call 239-643-1555 during regular office hours(8-5pm) to vote by phone with a credit card. Votes by phone must be received by Humane Society no later than 5 pm October 30, 2020, 5 p.m. EST.
- The photograph with the most votes (donations) at the end of the submission period will win the voting portion of the Photo Fundraiser (Certain rules, including vote minimums, will apply).
- All votes are donations to Humane Society Naples and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive receipts for their contributions.
- Votes and entry fees are non-refundable.
CONTEST RULES AND INFORMATION
- Eligibility. Everyone is eligible to participate in the 2020“Picture Pawfect Pet Photo Contest” and Fundraiser. It is a fundraiser for HSN, so all entries and monies are welcome. However, entries from employees and members of the Board of Directors ofHSN are not eligible to win 1st place prizes
- Each entry will be a $15 donation to Humane Society Naples
- Enter as many pets as you desire, however, each pet requires an entry form and a $15 donation
- Entries will be accepted from Monday, September 28th-Friday, October 9th
- Once entered, you are required to submit a photo and a bio via the link that will be emailed to you.
- All pictures submitted to the “Picture Pawfect Pet Photo Contest” and Fundraiser are required to support/further the mission of Humane Society Naples.
- All entries must be in color, high quality and contain one single animal. All photographs will go through an approval process prior to being entered into the contest. HSN reserves the right to refuse any photograph. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner.
- All submitted photos and information become the property of HSN to be used at our discretion for any and all marketing purposes without any compensation.
- All submitted and approved pet photos will be placed on petphoto.givesmart.com and will be listed with Pet’s Name, Owners Last Name in alphabetical order by pet’s name.
- Anyone may vote for any entry in the 2020 “Picture Pawfect Pet Photo Contest” and Fundraiser. Each $1.00 donation to HSN counts as one vote. You may cast as many votes as you like at any time for any entry. You are allowed and encouraged to vote for your own pets. Who loves them more than you do?
- All donations are tax-deductible by law. All donations to the photo contest are final. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted. Please remember that all votes are donations to help care for the homeless animals at the shelter and 100% of all donations go directly to care of the animals.
- On-line voting via petphoto.givesmart.com will end at 11:59pm EST on Friday October 30th at 11:59pm EST.
- Votes by mail or in person must be received by Humane Society Naples no later than October 29th, 2020, 5 p.m. EST.
- Votes by phone must be received by Humane Society no later than 5pm October 30, 2020, 5 p.m. EST.
- To avoid a group of individuals trying to be the last one to cast their vote and to ensure that no one will be denied the opportunity to win, in fairness, at 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, October 23rd we will take away the visibility, to both owners and the public, the see the amount raised.
- A minimum of $250 must be raised to be considered a winner for a specific category or Subaru Loves Pets. A minimum of $100 must be raised to participate in the top twelve overall fundraiser

FAQ
Is there a fee to enter my pet?
Yes, there is a $15 registration donation.
How Many Photos/Pets Can I Enter?
You can enter as many as you’d like! Enter as many pets as you desire, however, each pet requires an entry form and a $15 donation.
Can two Pets be in one photo?
Yes, however, each pet requires an entry form and a $15 donation.
Is there a minimum number of votes required per entry?
Yes. Each vote costs $1, and there is a $5 minimum requirement of votes cast per individual.
I’ve entered my pet! Now what?
Get the word out! Tell your friends and family to vote for your pet by 11:59pm on October 30th. Share reminders along the way as it usually takes 4-5 reminders before people follow through and cast a vote.
Are votes tax-deductible?
Humane Society Naples is a 501 (c)3 organization, Tax ID# 59-1033966. Each vote is a donation to HSN and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. All donors will receive a letter acknowledging their donation.
Can I vote for my own pet?
Absolutely! You are welcome (and encouraged) to cast as many votes as you’d like for your own pet’s photo.

Can I enter professional photos of my pet?
Yes, but you MUST obtain permission from the photographer to enter the photo in the contest.

How do the categories and leaderboards work?
The top vote-getters for each of the three categories (dogs, cats, and other critters) will be featured on the homepage of the Photo Fundraiser website throughout the contest. How will I know I won?
The winners of each category will be announced via Facebook live, email, and Humane Society Naples’ website. You can also check the leaderboard on the contest website to track your pet’s photo standing up until October 23rd.
Social media is your greatest tool to help promote your pet! Be sure to let your friends and family know your pet is a contestant and their vote will not only help you win amazing prizes but also go towards helping animals at Humane Society Naples.
