Dancing with the Local Stars - Naples
Humane Society Naples and Co-chairs Joan Turnbull Sabatino & Brad Jamison are bringing the glamour of ballroom dancing to town with Dancing with the Local Stars – Naples on Saturday, November 9th.
We’re pairing 10 local celebrities with 10 professional dancers for a one-of-a-kind fundraising event that will support homeless animals in Collier County.

Brad Jamison is Founder of Pineapple Group Enterprises, LLC, a Naples-based residential design, development and staging firm. He is also an award-winning professional with more than 23 years of corporate marketing experience. Prior to relocating to Naples, Brad lived in Los Angeles where he served as Vice President, Corporate Initiatives for Disney/ABC Television Group (DATG) where he provided vision and leadership for the strategic development, implementation and sponsorship of pro-social corporate efforts designed to educate, inspire and empower viewers/users of DATG’s vast on-air and online assets. In 2013, Brad launched Good Citizen, a company dedicated to providing inspiration, information and resources needed to improve ourselves, our communities, our nation and our world through service. He has also served as a senior consultant to numerous nonprofits and spent a decade at leading public relations firms. He is the recipient of the prestigious Daily Point Of Light award, which celebrates the power of the individual to spark change and improve the world.
Brad lives in Naples with his husband, Greg, and their Humane Society Naples rescue dog Bentley.

Shemane Nugent is on a mission to make the world a happier, healthier place! She has been a group fitness instructor for 40 years and has developed programs for Zumba and Curves. Shemane has appeared on Vh1, MTV, CMT, Discovery, C-Span, Entertainment Tonight, FOX and many other programs. She is a social media influencer and TV Lifestyle Correspondent discussing healthy living, fitness, fashion, dogs, charities, and having fun!
Along with her husband, rock legend Ted Nugent, Shemane co-hosts and co-produces the award-winning Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild TV show on Outdoor Channel. She is the author of “Married to a Rock Star,” and co-authored the popular wild game cookbook “Kill It and Grill It” with husband Ted. Her book “4 Minutes a Day, Rock ‘n Roll Your Way to Happy” is an inspirational healthy living guide that became a best-seller on Amazon the day it launched. A second edition, “4 Minutes To Happy” will be released March 2020.
Ms. Nugent shares her candid perspectives and entertaining dog videos with more than 200,000 followers in her widely popular posts on Instagram and Facebook. Shemane and her husband serve on the Board of Directors for Operation Finally Home, a charity that provides mortgage-free homes for veterans. Their Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids charity teaches inner-city youths archery, fishing and survival techniques.
After discovering her MTV Cribs home was contaminated with toxic mold between the walls, Shemane became deathly ill. Through alternative remedies, she healed herself and is currently producing a documentary about environmental toxins.
Shemane is on a mission to educate and inspire others to be healthier and happier, to eat chocolate every day, and to play with her dogs as much as possible. Chef Asif Syed

CHEF ASIF R. SYED was born and raised near Hyderabad, India, known as the ancient City of Kings and Pearls and famous for its Muglai cuisine. Originally drawn to art and painting, Chef Asif trained and worked as a chef in India after completing his degree in hotel management and catering. His progressive style of fusion cooking was developed and honed after spending time travelling and working in Europe. He learned to blend classic techniques with the exotic tastes acquired during his travels into his signature culinary style.
For the past 14 years, he has been the award-winning Executive Chef at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort. In 2013 and 2015, Chef Asif was named the winner of the Tampa Bay International Curry Festival. He has worked with many celebrity chefs around the globe and appeared multiple times on the Food Net-work. Besides being a competitor on the shows Guy’s Grocery Games (2015) and Cutthroat Kitchen (2016), he beat the “Iron Chef” Bobby Flay on “Beat Bobby Flay” in 2018 (Season 17) with his famous Tandoori Chicken.
