End of Year Thank You

HSN Staff Member with a Shelter Cat

This is the time of year we like to say Thank You!

With end-of-year gifts still coming in, we’d like to say thank you to everyone in our community — and beyond! — who took the time to remember the animals this year.

Humane Society Naples is 100% funded by philanthropic dollars. Thanks to those of you making these life-saving donations, we have been able to provide a no-kill shelter to thousands of cats, dogs and even small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and more) each year and every year. And even beyond shelter, we are able to serve our wider community with a top of the line veterinary clinic as well as a mobile veterinary van, we have introduced hundreds of local schoolchildren and summer campers to the best ways to interact with pets, we have provided a pet food bank and behavioral training assistance to families who love their pets but are struggling to keep them in the family. Our shelter pets visit memory care centers and nursing homes, providing comfort and love. And as the posters often say, our rescued pets “rescue” the people who adopt them with unflagging love and wagging tails.

Thank you for taking time to save these innocent lives. With your help, we can be sure they all can live the kind of life every pet deserves.

Thank you on behalf of all those who cannot speak for themselves.
