Patty & Jay Baker Mobile Veterinary Clinic
The Patty & Jay Baker Mobile Veterinary Clinic aims to bring free or reduced-cost medical care, services and information to people and pets in communities who are unable to access or afford these services.
“Our goal is to provide the same gold standard, high-quality care on our mobile clinic that is provided at our main shelter brick-and-mortar clinic,” says Executive Director, Sarah Baeckler. The Mobile Veterinary Clinic is equipped to serve Collier County and neighboring counties with capabilities of general wellness exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and more.
The Patty & Jay Baker Mobile Veterinary Clinic is intended to prevent and alleviate suffering in pets whose caretakers would otherwise be unable to provide this care. Out of respect for our clients and out of concern of creating barriers when documentation is challenging, we serve our clients on an honor system. If you can otherwise afford to provide care for your pet, please obtain that care from our main veterinary clinic or one of the excellent veterinarians in our community. Care received at the mobile veterinary clinic is made possible by donations intended to create a safety net.
Appointments
- Online appointment scheduling is coming soon! Please email mvc@hsnaples.org for questions about currently scheduled appointments or making a future appointment.
Cost (per visit)
- There are no income qualifications for clients, instead, there is an honor system for payments with the expectation that people financially contribute what they are able to towards their pet’s visit. (There is a $10 minimum contribution per pet) Based on this model, we have the expectation that anyone who can afford veterinary care will seek from our main veterinary clinic or another private practice.
