Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week. Established in 1974, National Volunteer Week focuses national attention on the impact and power of volunteerism. This one week of the year highlights the enormous contribution that volunteers make in their local communities on every day and week of the year.

Humane Society Naples is fortunate to have nearly 500 dedicated and passionate volunteers who make a real difference in our collective effort to help animals get the second chances they deserve.

It’s inspiring to see the impact of their commitment every day. They are more than just dog walkers, cat servants, laundry room attendants and event support – each volunteer provides love and care that makes a real difference for the animals. Their dedication to our mission and vision is truly astounding.
