For our dogs, there’s something special about the month of October. No, it’s not Halloween treats or holiday sweaters, it’s the promise of a better life. October, better known as “Dogtober”, is Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month and means it’s the perfect opportunity to help orphaned animals of Humane Society Naples find loving furever homes.
If you can’t adopt, here are some of the many ways you can help us celebrate this important time of year:
Adopt. If you are ready to open your heart and home to an animal in need, please consider adopting. There are many adorable, adoptable pets waiting to meet you at our no-kill shelter.
Fundraise. What better way to celebrate your love of dogs than to host a fundraiser in their honor? Join us on Facebook! Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed. Click Raise Money. Select Nonprofit/Charity. Select “Humane Society Naples” and fill in the fundraiser details. Click Create.
Give. We understand that not everyone can adopt a dog this October, but the good news is you can still help find loving homes for pets in need by making a donation to HSN. Your contribution will help us save more lives during Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month and all year long.
