Yogi Finds a Home After 802 Days

Yogi, who spent over 800 days at Humane Society Naples, is spending his nights in his new home.

Surrendered to HSN in 2022, this sweet dog was overlooked due to his rough past and intimidating appearance. But he deserved a second chance just as much as any other dog. Staff and volunteers spent time getting to know Yogi, introducing him slowly to new people so he would feel comfortable and safe. Those slow introductions are what grew his trust in people, and once Yogi invited you into his life, you were there forever.

HSN is thrilled to announce that after 802 days, Yogi has been adopted! He found his perfect match, and after several thoughtful introductions, patience, and time with our behavior team, he found someone who respects his pace and won him over. We couldn’t be more thankful to his adopter for giving him a chance for a happy new life.
